Hi, I'm Corleigh
I am the creator and unfiltered personality behind Fifty Shades of Yumm. I’m in love with everything related to food, organization, and lifestyle. I’m also a busy working mom who; like you, is beyond freaking tired. So, I decided to create a blog to help you, fellow freaking tired mom, get delicious meals on the table that will please your psychotic family.
Us moms really do way too much with little recognition. It certainly feels like we try harder than we need, just to please everyone around us. It's tiring, I know. To top it all off, it really doesn’t help if you’re like me and take your relaxation time super seriously, yet seem to have no time for it! If you’re looking to work smarter (not harder) to maximize that precious relaxation time. Or just simply to have someone else take the stress of organizing, planning, and meal prepping off your shoulders, then you’re in the right place!
My Vision
What kind of content can you find on the blog?
Here on Fifty Shades of Yumm I share healthy recipes that are usually quick and always easy! My goal is to make cooking for your family way more simple and maybe even *gasp* enjoyable. Additionally, I share some organization and mom life hacks because let’s be real, mom life is so much better when you have someone else to do all the planning for you! My blog is still pretty new so hopefully in the near future I can start sharing some weekly/ monthly meal plans with grocery lists to take even more stress off your shoulders. So, consider subscribing to my newsletter below for updates!
Why meal prep and batch cook?
Something I learned pretty quickly after becoming a mom was to meal prep and batch cook. As. Much. As. Possible! Trust me, if this isn’t something you’re already doing, then you really need to start because it's literally a life and sanity saver. There is truly nothing better than knowing that you have breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner covered when you’re in the thick of a chaotic mess. It really should be considered a form of self-care! All of my recipes are developed with busy people like you in mind, so expect to see a lot of family, batch cooking, and freezer friendly recipes.
