Tips, tricks, and modifications
How to make this into a frappe
Chill the latte completely in the fridge (overnight is best) and then blend in a high speed blender with one cup of ice cubes. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon or gingerbread spice mix and enjoy!
Best substitute for milk in a latte?
Easily swap the milk out for any dairy free option of your choice! The creamier the better, of course. So, we highly recommend trying a thicker non dairy milk, such as: Oat milk, cashew milk, or soy milk. Though, almond milk can also work too.
What's in gingerbread spice mix?
Gingerbread spice mix is a blend of the following spices:
- 2 tablespoons Ground Nutmeg
- 3 tablespoons Ground Ginger
- 2 tablespoons Ground Cloves
- 3 tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
Mix all of the spices together and store in an airtight container for up to 12 months in dry area. Use as needed in baking recipes, coffee, or alcoholic beverages.
